Here is a custom pewter countertop we just made for a Kitchen Design Company in Massachusetts. They needed it in two weeks..so we added this project to the front of our queue and crafted the top in record speed. Yes, we aim to please.

The counter top is pewter with an antiqued, matte finish and a 3 1/2 inch grape leaf profile. This ornamental edge profile is perfect for the wine lover and was specially treated to create a darkened patina which really shows off the detail of the profile.

The pewter is highly polished and waxed. With just a little polishing, the top will maintain its bright shininess. Even though it is bright and shiny, these photos are a great example of the warmth and character pewter possess as opposed to other more cold and austere looking countertops like stainless steel.

We look forward to photos of the countertop installed and we will certainly share them here because while it is nice to see the detail of the stand alone counter top, there is nothing like seeing the finished product in its context and safely placed in its new home.
